Broad Spectrum Internal Parasite Flake for Freshwater and Saltwater Fish
Our Anti-Parasite Quad-F Flake combines two powerful deworming agents along with Epsom salt and garlic to address a broad range of internal parasites and worms in both freshwater and saltwater fish, including camalanus worms. Safe for use in planted tanks and with fish fry at least two weeks old. Safe for invertebrates.
Why Four Ingredients? Each ingredient in Quad-F serves a specific purpose. Two dewormers work together to target a broad spectrum of internal parasites, covering worm types that each alone may not address. Epsom salt helps fish expel parasites more effectively, and garlic serves a dual purpose. It improves palatability since deworming agents can be quite bitter, and provides natural antibiotic and antifungal properties to help combat secondary infections.
How to Use Quad-F can be used in a quarantine tank or directly in the main display aquarium. Treating the main tank is often the recommended approach as all fish sharing the same water have likely been exposed, including those not yet showing visible symptoms. Offer as the only food. Plan on deep gravel vacs every 2-3 days to remove excreted parasites and eggs before they can hatch and reinfect the tank. Repeating in 3-week cycles is strongly recommended to fully break the parasite life cycle.
A Note on Responsible Use Use when internal parasites are suspected or confirmed, not as a routine preventative. Using antiparasitic products unnecessarily or incorrectly can lead to parasites developing resistance over time, reducing effectiveness when treatment is truly needed.
